Dog Training 101
In today’s world, there are many ways to train a dog. Most methods involve shaping behavior through positive or negative reinforcement techniques or a
combination of both. Our philosophy is to train using positive techniques that allow the dog to make his/her own good decisions, rather than forcing the dog into doing what we want him/her to do. Using forceful techniques can be counter-productive in the long term since dogs are intelligent creatures that have the ability to make good decisions on their own. To live with humans, a dog must learn the behaviors that will make him an enjoyable member of the pack and keep him and his owner safe in trying situations.
When you and your dog become a part of our pack, we give you the tools to create a strong working relationship and bond between you and your canine family member. We believe in a holistic approach to creating a well-rounded dog.
Through positive training techniques, good nutrition and daily exercise, the possibilities are endless!
